Literary Characters: L is for Little Red Riding Hood

December 20, 2016

All the better to eat you with...
The Little Red Riding Hood fable is just about as good as it gets. Angela Carters's The Bloody Chamber and Neil Jordan's Company of Wolves are fabulous multi-layered allegories.
My Red is dwarfed by what could possibly be the mouth of a gigantic beast. We may be scared for her but she may be ready to face it.
